The Big Read Lecture: Military Leadership in Vietnam

St. Tammany Parish Library hosts The Big Read Lecture: Military Leadership in Vietnam. Professor Harry Laver will discuss Military Leadership in Vietnam as it relates to The Big Read book, The Things They Carried by Tim O’Brien.

Professor Harry Laver is a member of the Department of History and Political Science at Southeastern Louisiana University. He graduated from the University of Kentucky, Lexington with a Ph.D. in History.                                                                            

The lecture will be held at Slidell Branch Library on Friday, September 14, 2012 from 2:30 to 4:00 p.m. The event is free and open to the public, and registration is recommended. Light refreshments will be available.
