Driving Directions:
Follow Hwy 190 north into Covington. At second red light past overpass turn right on Hwy 437 (Lee Road). Go 8 miles to an all-way stop at Hwy 40 and Lee Road. Proceed through stop. Branch is the first building on left after passing Lee Road Junior High School.

Services and Collections:
Available for public use are 4 personal computers (with Internet), a black & white laser printer ($ .10 per page), a black & white photocopier ($ .10 per page) and a fax machine for sending and receiving faxes.

Lee Road's collection consists of over 21,184 items, including books (regular and large print), magazines, videos, DVDs, audio cassettes and CDs.

An outside bookdrop is available in the parking lot.

Branch History:
Construction for the Lee Road Branch Library started in December, 1986. Previously, library service to the area was provided by the Library's Bookmobile. Funding for construction, equipment, and furnishings for the branch was provided by a capital improvement plan approved by St. Tammany Parish voters in the mid 1980's. The contemporary style 2,000 square foot building has a brick exterior and a vaulted ceiling over the circulation desk. The branch opened to the public on Monday, July 27, 1987.
