Growing Fall Vegetables: Cooler Temps and Extended Harvests

Take your mind off of the heat and humidity by attending the program “Growing Fall Vegetables: Cooler Temps and Extended Harvests” taught by Dr. Gerard Ballanco. Attendees will learn how to prepare their vegetable gardens to produce a plentiful fall harvest throughout the growing season. This helpful program will be held at three different libraries on the following dates and times. 

  • Folsom - Wednesday, August 1, from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m.

  • Covington -  Thursday, August 2, from 6:00 to 7:30 pm

  • Slidell - Saturday, August 4, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

 

Dr. Gerard Ballanco is a retired pediatrician from New Orleans who is now a Master Gardener living in Folsom. He is graciously sharing his knowledge and experience with the community by presenting this program.
