Teen Advisory Groups (TAGs) *Slidell Branch   St. Tammany Parish Library is excited to have the Slidell Teen Advisory Group, open to St. Tammany teens ages 12 - 18, or those in grades 7 - 12.  The TAG is always looking for friendly, enthusiastic teens who love libraries and want to make a difference in their communities. If you are one of the teens, please come join us.   Bring a friend! New members are welcomed to join at any time - just come to a meeting. You can fill out an application at the meeting, or print one out (it's 2 pages), complete, and bring it with you.                   We hope to see you soon!

TAG MISSION STATEMENT The mission of the Teen Advisory Group is to enrich the lives of local teen and to support and assist the St. Tammany Parish Library by: *Planng activities for local teens and getting teens involved in library activities; *Helping to provide a safe, comfortable, and inviting environment for local teens; *Educating teens and others about the Library; *Recommending teen materials (books, CDs, DVDs, databases, audiobooks, etc.) for Library collections; and *Acting as a social outet and source of entertainment for its members. - created by founding members of the Slidell TAG 12/2007
